Questions
How does the free trial work?
Any paid plan billed annually starts with a 1-month free trial — your card is charged only after the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from the Billing page at no cost. It's one trial per customer; monthly billing doesn't include a trial.
What happens if I go over my storage limit?
New uploads are blocked once you hit your quota — your existing files are never touched or deleted. Upgrade or free up space and uploads resume immediately.
What counts against my transfer limit?
Any bytes moved in or out of your account — uploads, downloads from your dashboard, and downloads through share links you send to other people. It resets every 30 days.
Can I switch plans or billing intervals anytime?
Yes, from the Billing page in your account. Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
What happens to my files if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. If your usage is above the new plan's limit, you just can't upload new files until you're back under it.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes — encrypted at rest and in transit by default. My Stash is plain, everyday storage; Vault is our fully end-to-end encrypted option, where file names, folder names, and contents are all encrypted in your browser before they ever leave your device, so WarpStash can't read any of it. Vault is free on every plan.
