WarpStash is a product of WarPulse LLC ("WarPulse," "we," "us," or "our"), an Indiana, USA limited liability company. WarPulse LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal data described in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains what information we collect through WarpStash, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.

• Account information — your email address and authentication details, provided when you sign up.
• Your files and metadata — the files you upload, and metadata about them such as file name, size, type, and folder structure. Vault file names, folder names, and file contents are encrypted on your device before we ever receive them.
• Usage and device information — log data, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or app version, and actions taken within the Service, used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
• Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our own systems.
• Support communications — information you send us when you contact support.

• to provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including storing and delivering Your Content;
• to process payments and manage your subscription;
• to communicate with you about your account, security, or changes to the Service;
• to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your files to train any model or for advertising.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — processing needed to provide the Service you signed up for, including storing Your Content and processing payment for paid plans;
• Legitimate interests — securing the Service, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving reliability, balanced against your rights and interests; and
• Consent — where we ask for it specifically, such as certain optional communications, which you may withdraw at any time.

At signup, you choose whether your account's storage is located in our United States or European Union region. Your files are stored on infrastructure located in that region. Existing accounts created before the EU region was available may be offered a one-time, one-way switch to move their non-Vault data to the EU region; Vault buckets are never relocated between regions. Account and billing metadata (such as your email address and subscription status) may be processed in the United States regardless of your storage region choice, as described below.

Because WarPulse LLC is a United States company, some personal data (such as account and billing metadata) is processed in the United States even for EU/UK users who choose EU file storage. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect that data.

We share personal data only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, providers that host our infrastructure, process payments, or help us authenticate accounts — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WarPulse, our users, or the public.

We retain your account information and Your Content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a file, folder, or your entire account, we will delete the corresponding data from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Regardless of where you live, you can access, update, export, or delete Your Content directly from your account at any time, and you can delete your account from your account settings.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you also have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate personal data;
• request erasure of your personal data;
• request restriction of, or object to, our processing of your personal data;
• receive your personal data in a portable format; and
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, and — for Vault — end-to-end encryption performed on your device before upload. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We use a limited set of essential cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences such as light/dark theme. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above, or by emailing the address on your account.
